Simple syrup infused with frozen cranberries
Recipe
- 1 cup frozen cranberries
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup water
Heat water over medium heat on stove. As water nears boil, add sugar slowly, stirring with a wooden spoon. Reduce heat and remove from burner if water bubbles. Keep adding and stirring until the sugar is dissolved. Add frozen cranberries. Wait for water to heat again, then reduce and simmer for ten minutes. Remove from heat and strain into suitable container.
